You,
as the registered owner of the vehicle described on this Citation, are alleged
to have failed to stop before reaching or overtaking a school bus on a highway
while the visual signals were in operation, at the place, date, and time
specified on this notice. Under Georgia Code § 40-6-163, you are presumed to be
the driver but such presumption may be rebutted as outlined below.
This
violation carries a civil monetary penalty of $250.00.
The
violation is not considered a moving traffic violation. This violation will not
be made a part of your driving record and no points will be assessed nor shall
it be used for any insurance purposes in the provision of motor vehicle
insurance coverage.
Failure
to pay the civil monetary penalty or to contest liability in a timely manner
shall waive any right to contest liability and you shall be liable for a civil
monetary penalty of $250.00.

TO CONTEST THE ALLEGED
CITATION:
NOTE: If your affidavit is not
received and accepted or if you have not paid the civil monetary penalty in
full by the due date on the Notice of Citation, you will receive a Second
Notice of Citation with the date, time and location to appear in court.
NAME THE DRIVER AT THE TIME
OF THE ALLEGED VIOLATION: Submit a
notarized statement that you were not the operator of the vehicle at the time
of the violation, providing the name and address of the driver, by completing
the Dispute Form that can be found on www.ViolationInfo.com.

MANNER AND TIME CITATION
MAY BE CONTESTED IN COURT: You are required
to confirm your appearance by completing the Dispute Form located at the bottom
of page 2 of your Notice of Violation and remitting to the Municipal Court to
be placed on the Docket. You may also download the form at Please complete the
Dispute Form that can be found on www.ViolationInfo.com. Upon review, you will be notified of the
determination.. Remit the Dispute Form to: The
Municipal Court of Atlanta, ATTN: Bus Stop Camera, 150 Garnett St. SW, Atlanta,
GA 30303. You may submit by mail or in person. Once you confirm your appearance,
you must appear in court. Failure to confirm your appearance may result in your
case not being heard in court.
